v.(动词)
    他去北京已经一周了。

    He has gone to Beijing for a week.

    It's a week since he went to Beijing.

    He has been to Beijing for a week.

    go是瞬间动词,不能和表示一段时间的状语连用。

    下周我们去跳舞吧。

    Let's go to dancing next week.

    Let's go dancing next week.

    表示“去从事某种活动”,通常应该说go v -ing,而不是go to- v 。类似的说法还有go shopping(去购物), go bathing(去洗澡), go swimming(去游泳), go hunting(去打猎), go shooting(去打猎)等。

    我回来时,我的车不见了。

    When I came back, my car had gone.

    When I came back, my car was gone.

    当表示“某人或某物已消失,用完或不再存在”时,常用“be gone”的结构。当我们着眼于动作或动作的方向或目的地时,用“have gone”的结构。

    秋天到了,树叶变成棕色了。

    Autumn comes and leaves get brown.

    Autumn comes and leaves go brown.

    go后面可以跟形容词来表示“变成”的意思,如 go red, go brown,这些表示颜色的词可以和go连用。但get一般不与表示颜色的词连用。

    He often goes to see his teachers on Sunday.

    在“go and+ v ”结构中, go只能是原形动词,不能用其他形式。如果go用其他形式,则要将“and+ v ”改为“go to do sth ”。

    他们全力以赴,投入这场斗争。

    They went all out with the struggle.

    They went all out for the struggle.

    “全力以赴投入…”,可说go all out for sth,这里的for不可换用with。

    我困了,我要去睡觉了。

    I am sleepy; I will go to sleep.

    I am sleepy; I will go to bed.

    go to bed和go to sleep都有“睡觉”的意思,但go to bed指“就寝”“上床去睡”的动作; 而“go to sleep”是指“入睡”“进入梦乡”的过程。

    休息片刻后,他们继续工作。

    They went on with their work after a short rest.

    go on表示“继续”时,不可直接接名词或代词,应该说go on with n./pron. 。

    尽管他们不断打扰,她还是继续讲下去。

    She went on to talk despite their interruptions.

    go on表示“继续”时,其后可接动名词,不可接动词不定式。

    这本是一所州立学校,但现在已经自立了。

    go作“变得”“变为”解时以形容词或起形容词作用的分词作表语,而不能跟副词。

    他要作一次长途旅行。

    “去(作一次)旅行”英语的表达是go on a journey,其中介词不可换为to。类似的短语还有go on a trip(去旅行), go on business(去办事), go on an errand(去出差), go on strike(罢工),等等。

    go over作复习解时是“不及物动词+介词(短语)”构成的短语动词,其宾语(不管是名词还是代词)只能跟在介词之后,不能插在动词和介词之间。
